"As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." Proverbs 27:17I was blessed with parents who have friends. Does that make sense? As in, parents who weren't afraid to call a sitter for us for a night out with their friends. Parents that took a boating trip in the summer and a skiing trip in the winter without us each year. They dressed up silly, had inside jokes, cried together in pain and laughed in good times. Growing up I saw the importance of these friendships for them and am so incredibly blessed to have been placed in a position with the same types of friends. We took a night off with some of these friends and played three holes of golf at a deserted golf course on a gorgeous evening followed by a wonderfully relaxing dinner outside.
You can tell by our outfits we mean serious business.
