Change for the Congo

Well, I mentioned awhile back about another oppportunity that would be made available for helping to bring our little boy home.  Here it is:

We've got lots and lots of bottles going out to anyone who is willing and kind enough to take one.  They tell a short story about or dream to adopt from the Congo.  They also ask for you to begin collecting change in the bottle.  When one gets full we'll happily pick it up.  Change doesn't always feel very significant when we find it left over in our husbands jeans, but we believe with a little change from lots of people we can make a big diference!  I also think it is a great way to help kids get involved in the mission of helping orphans around the world.  It is not always easy to explain to them how some children in the world have absolutely nothing.  This bottle can help give you an opportunity to talk about orphans and the poor as well as how God has called us to take care of them.

If you'd like a bottle....or 5...please let me know and I would be happy to get one to you.  Start saving away those coins you find in the couch and on the floor of the van.  We need them!

Here's some more picture from our project....

Thank goodness for sister-in-laws who are always happy to help!
